Developing High-Grade Discoveries in the Historic St. Anthony Gold Mine Region

On the ground in one of Canada’s most prolific and active gold-rich zones in Northwestern Ontario.

St. Anthony Gold Corp.

A Canadian Born Resource Company from the Ground up

Canada has a long and prolific history of producing successful resource companies and mineral prospects, including gold, silver, and precious metal resources on a world-class scale. This legacy has continued to the present when new, growth-focused companies have emerged, even as the entire world faced unprecedented financial challenges.

St. Anthony Gold Corp. is at the forefront of this new era. Established in 2020 by a seasoned Canadian resource team, the Company has placed its focus on the historic Red Lake District in Ontario, Canada. The Red Lake Mining District is well known as one of the largest and highest-grade historic gold-producing regions in the world. Its major mines are credited with over 30 million ounces of high-grade gold.

Recent high-grade gold discoveries in the region providing significant drilling results have sparked a new rush for position among major miners and resource developers alike. St. Anthony Gold Corp. has consolidated its efforts focusing on two lead projects, both with high-grade and bulk tonnage potential in the region.

OUR FOCUS

•60 km east and along trend with Great Bear’s Dixie Lake discovery

•Panama Zone has been drill-defined over a 1.2 km strike

•Results include 1.2 g/t Au over 15 m and 2.8 g/t Au over 4.5 m

LEAD PROJECT

St. Anthony Gold Mine

St. Anthony Gold Corp.’s lead project is a 4,224 hectare property located in the Kenora-Patricia mining district in Ontario 85 km east of the town of Sioux Lookout, 13 km south of Savant Lake. The area is well known for high-grade gold deposits and home of Newmont Goldcorp’s Musselwhite Mine, which is one of the worlds largest gold mines.

Under Development

Panama Lake

St. Anthony Gold Corp.’s Panama Lake property is located on deep-rooted fault architecture that lies 60km east of, and on-trend with the Great Bear Dixie Lake gold discovery. It is also near the past producing South Bay and Uchi gold mines. The Panama Lake prospect hosts one of the highest gold grain counts in till sampling completed by the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) in the Red Lake district.

“We’ve got a great asset, great management, and great historical understanding in the area - this is high-grade gold.”

LOCATION

At the Heart of Ontario's Historic Gold District

Following the high-grade gold discovery made by Great Bear Resources in 2017, a resurgence has taken place surrounding the historic Red Lake Mining Camp. There are now several dozen mining exploration and development companies working on the ground at various sites. St. Anthony Gold Corp. is well positioned within this group having gained early position through its previous exploration agreements inherited as part of its corporate structure.

The Red Lake greenstone belt is one of the most prolific gold camps in Canada, with gold production from three principal deposits: Campbell-Red Lake (>13 million oz.), Cochenor-Willans (1.2 million oz.), and the Madsen (2.4 million oz.) mines. The two major producers, Campbell and Dickenson (Red Lake) mines have produced a total of 14 million troy ounces of gold since going into production in 1948.

Past production and current reserves in the Red Lake district total approximately 23 million ounces of gold and continue to rise.

development Strategy

Developing High-Grade Discoveries

St. Anthony Gold Corp. is a Canadian gold exploration company founded through its transition from a previous resource development company. It launches with two highly active projects –both located in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The lead project, named for its historic St. Anthony gold mine legacy, is located 85 km east of town of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, and 13 km south of Savant Lake. The St. Anthony mine area is considered the highest probability, nearest term bulk tonnage target.

The Company’s Panama Lake prospect is also located within the world-class Red Lake mining district in Ontario, Canada. The Panama Lake prospect is located 50km away from and on-trend with Great Bear Resources’ Dixie Project and has excellent exploration and discovery potential within a relatively under explored area of the camp. In addition, the Panama Lake property is host to some of the highest unsourced gold grains (107 grains) in glacial till discovered by the Geological Survey of Canada, 1999 (Open File 3038).

The focus of St. Anthony Gold Corp. is on developing worthwhile resource projects in established and historic areas, bringing those resources to their full potential.

DRILL RESULTS

New Core Samples Show Visible Gold

St Anthony Gold Corp. is continuing its Phase One diamond drilling program on the St Anthony gold mine property located in the Kenora-Patricia Mining District, Ontario. The drilling is producing some significant highlights including Hole SA21-18, the fourth hole of the program and the second twinned hole which is intersecting:

  • 71 grams per tonne Au over 2 m at 183 m down the drill hole,
  • 09 grams per tonne Au over 3 m at 210 m down the drill hole and,
  • 68 grams per tonne Au over 3.7 m at 327.3 m down the drill hole.
    • Including 314 grams per tonne Au over 0.5 m.
  • 6 grams per tonne Au over 1 m at 352 m down the drill hole.

The two main zones at St. Anthony consist of Zone 1 and Zone 2.  Zone 1 is broadly defined over a strike length of 350 metres, with a minimum depth of 200 metres and a true width averaging about 8 metres, based on past production. Historical production focused solely on the vein material and not the adjacent mineralized wallrock.

Recent discoveries in the Red Lake district by Great Bear Resources and others have led to what amounts to another gold rush.
